Mr. Yang Wanhong, born in May 1963, graduated from Dalian Institute of Technology (currently known as Dalian University of Technology) in 1984, with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, majoring in organic chemical engineering. He received an Executive Master of Business Administration degree from Fudan University in January 2005 and held the title of senior engineer. He successively served as a technician, the head of technical section and the branch chief engineer of Yantai Synthetic Leather Factory*（煙臺(tái)合成革廠）from July 1984 to December 1998. He served as the deputy director of the production department, the director of the technology development department, the director of the technology center, the chief engineer, the Vice President of Yantai Wanhua Polyurethane Co., Ltd.*（煙臺(tái)萬(wàn)華聚氨酯股份有限公司）and the General Manager of Ningbo Wanhua Polyurethane Co., Ltd.*（寧波萬(wàn)華聚氨酯有限公司）from December 1998 to January 2010. He served as the Vice President of Wanhua Enterprise Group*（萬(wàn)華實(shí)業(yè)集團(tuán)）and the General Manager of Shanxi Zhongqiang Coal & Chemicals Company*（山西中強(qiáng)煤化公司）from January 2010 to September 2016. He has been a senior consultant of Wanhua Chemical Group Co., Ltd. since September 2016. In March 2020, he was appointed as the chairman and the chief expert of the Production Technology Expert Committee, and in May 2023, he retired and was reappointed as a senior consultant and the chief expert. Mr. Yang has been engaged in polyurethane chemical technology development and management, planning and development, technical transformation, production technology management, procurement and supply chain management, safety and environmental protection technology, and project engineering technical support for many years.He was appointed as an independent non-executive Director of the company in May 2024. |
